Introduction
In our previous Talamona blog we went over the history of the company and its acquisition by Cesar Talamona’s good friend and renowned pipe maker, Paolo Croci.
These pipes are hand made in Italy by the aforementioned Paolo Croci, who has a penchant for designing unique pipes and crafting them with the utmost care. As a result the brand has become popular since its re-entry into the market under Croci’s ownership.
When buying a Talamona pipe you are guaranteed a stylish, robust pipe made from genuine Italian briar root. As these pipes are made on the continent, most are fitted for a 9mm filter.
Revolution Onyx Pipes

The Revolution range by Talamona was named so according to the official website because “they take their name from the finish of the methacrylate mouthpiece”.
This material can often be found in dental materials, windscreen repair kits and as a form of bone cement in orthopaedic surgeries.
After crafting these mouthpieces the end product is extra durable and resistant, perfect for those who find themselves chewing on their pipe.
In stock we currently have pipes from the Revolution Onyx family. These pipes feature a smooth finish in a natural/dark polish.
The pipes come pre-carbonated meaning they are ready for daily use. They also come fitted for a 9mm filter and come with a delightful cream and white striped stem.
Brass Cognac Poker Pipe
The Brass Cognac Poker from Talamona is shaped in a slightly more angular fashion than most poker pipes, keeping the stem afloat when placed upon a flat surface.
This makes it the ideal option for those who smoke their pipe whilst reading or engaging in hobbies that makes them have to relinquish use of their hands.
The finish is a deep, firey reddish orange, reminiscent of that pleasurable sweet spirit, Cognac.
Unlike the Revolution pipes, the Brass Cognac Poker does not come pre-carbonated and therefore needs to be broken in slowly.
A classy black stem is adjoined to the bowl via a rustic yet suave copper band that really ties the piece together.
Talamona Tampers
These fantastic metal pipe tampers are coated in a marbled acrylic and are the perfect pocket companion. Perfectly weighted, the sleek design sits comfortably in the hand whilst providing the ideal tamping. Don’t leave the house without it!
