Manufactured by industry giants Dannemann, Al Capones have been carefully created to cater to cigar smokers who only have a limited timespan that would allow them to usually only smoke a cigarette.
Firstly these are cigarillos, short thin cigars that can often be misconstrued as a cigarette in the guise of a cigar. This is not the case. These cigarillos are made with a special combination of New World tobacco that is rich and robust.
For the wrapper a special Brazilian Baha leaf grown exclusively by the manufacturer is treated to a process of air curing and fermentation before being flavoured with a delicious rum. This is one of the main selling points of Al Capone cigars.
Al Capone utilises a mixture of select short leaf Nicaraguan and Brazilian filler leaves. Within this blend is a selection of choice aged leaves from regions such as Condega, Jalapa and even Esteli (the most coveted region for tobacco in Nicaragua).
Once everything is ready the filler, binder and filter are machine rolled in Honduras. The final touch is the wrapper leaf, which is rolled by hand.
