Revor: Plug | Pipe Tobacco (50g Packet)
A blend of flue and fire cured tobaccos pressed and baked into a glossy black bar. The addition of some flavourings makes for a definitive taste that is favoured by experienced pipe smokers who demand a strong cool satisfying smoke.
A selection of fine Virginia, Burley and Kentucky are chosen to be blended. The tobaccos are then treated to a heating and pressing process to result in a plug. A quaint topping with hints of Lakeland is applied. When smoked subtle hints of wood, citrus, fruit preserve and of course, floral tones.
To prepare for smoking one will need to slice and rub down Revor: Plug. It becomes somewhat of a ritual for the regular. Even when rubbed to a favourable consistency, the plug will retain a high moisture content and require patience to get lit properly. If you do, you will be rewarded greatly. This is a piece of Scottish pipe tobacco history, once sold only through Scottish Co-Op stores. Presently it is manufactured by Gawith & Hoggarth. Made in Great Britain.
