The earliest records of the company go back to 1820 when the founder Thomas Aubin started the business. His nephew Philip Germain upon leaving school joined his uncle. Later his two sons would take up ownership and in the 1920’s it was bestowed with the name GERMAIN’S. The company remains in its ancestral home of the Isle of Jersey and continues to have a name renowned with high quality pipe tobaccos.
