Boveda’s patented 2-way humidity control continually responds to ambient conditions. It does this by adding or removing moisture to affect the enclosed environment. This is how it delivers the pre-determined RH (relative humidity) level printed on the pack.
Firstly, for any cigar fan keeping your cigars in optimal condition is never simple. Temperature and humidity fluctuations can and will ruin cigars that are not cared for correctly. This is where Boveda comes into play. The sachet is just placed directly with the cigars, be it in a humidor or traveldor. Even a zip lock bag. Once the sachet is with the cigars it gets straight to work. Most importantly the intelligent gel system detects whether it needs to emit or withdraw moisture from the environment. Once the Boveda sachet is rigid, replace with a new one. Depending on the size of your storage you may need more sachets. Available in different sizes.
