Bell’s: Three Nuns | Pipe Tobacco (40g Packet)
From it’s original inception by J & F Bell in the 19th Century this tobacco was immensely popular. Now rubbed out as a blend, this mix of Brazilian Light, Burley, Kentucky and Virginia still tops the market. A mild to medium tobacco with a sweet after taste.
Strength wise, Three Nun’s is the perfect medium. Since 2013 it has been made by Mac Baren in Denmark (there have been a few brands that have produced Three Nuns, each with a slightly different recipe). The choice Virginia tobaccos within offer sweet, acrid citrus tones along with wood and floral notes. The taste is fairly rich and pronounced. Moisture wise Three Nuns is slightly damp and can take a few lights to get burning. That being said once lit, it smokes with ease. Try Bell’s: Three Nuns | Pipe Tobacco and find out why this blend has endured for well over a century. 40g.
P.S – For those who prefer the old disc form of this tobacco, check out Curly Cut under Loose Tobaccos in the Pipe Tobacco section of the site.
