Founded by Simon Camacho in in 1961 who was exiled from Cuba and set up business in Miami, Florida. He found success in the American market and even gained favour from notable people such as Winston Churchill who, Camacho would later go on to name a cigar after. In 1995 the Eiro family acquired the business and it is now under the Oettinger Davidoff Group.
