H.Upmann
German banker H.Upmann was so passionate about Cuban cigars that he moved to Havana in 1844. Once here his two ambitions, banking and cigar manufacture, were met. The bank only lasted into the 1920’s, but, over a century later his cigar brand still remains a reputable brand in the Havana sphere. Ask any aficionado and they will tell you many reasons why this is the case. H.Upmann manufactures a wide range of vitolas in the pursuit of accommodating cigar smokers of all shapes and sizes. Beloved by many for their light to medium strength and smooth flavour, H.Upmann are a great Cuban cigar for novices and connoisseurs.
H. Upmann’s blend is exclusively composed of filler and binder tobaccos grown from the Vuelta Abajo zone.

Corona J’s are a bit tight, maybe that’s why I like them so much. President Kennedy must’ve had a good taste for cigars as this one offers surprisingly complex flavour (nutty and maybe with hints of coffee?) for a smaller cigar. It was rolled with care proving that even cheaper cigars from H. Upmann should be tasted by every cigar aficionado. Highly recommended (if you enjoy tighter cigars).
