The brainchild of Eduardo Rivera in 1963, the original Laguito No.1 was designed as an offering to then President, Fidel Castro. 19 years later this vitola would see its first commercial release as the Cohiba Lancero.

El Rey Del Mundo
El Rey Del Mundo was founded in 1848 by Emilio Ohmstedt and launched alongside the Sancho Panza brand. The brand was bought over in 1882 by Antonio Allones who had been making Havanas for over 30 years. He decided to launch a new brand of premium quality and price. With great confidence but little modesty it was named ‘El Rey Del Mundo’ – The King Of The World. It proved to be a winner and its success carries on to this day. Loved by many for its milder, complex palate than many of the other Cubans on the market. Perhaps not the most well known brand presently, El Rey Del Mundo is still venerated by the knowledgeable connoisseurs of fine Cuban cigars.
