Despite being located in the Dominican Republic, Carrillo decided to blend only Nicaraguan leaves for the Encore range. To pull off the construction of a cigar with such depth of flavour he utilised tobacco from the Esteli, Condega and Jalapa regions of Nicaragua. When describing its flavour profile Cigar Aficionado stated:
All of it comes together in the Majestic, a robusto of immaculately detailed flavor that ranges from oak and tea to caramel sweetness with tangy citrus pops of candied orange peel.
