Robusto
An exemplary new world cigar that is sure to impress. As with all Charatan cigars the carefully selected blend comprises Nicaraguan long filler made from Seco, Ligero and Volado leaves.
Together these provide a mellow, light to medium-bodied smoke that has an easy draw thanks to its great combustion properties of the Volado.
A unique Indonesian Besuki binder holds the guts together and offers a mild aromatic quality. The shade grown Java wrapper gives the cigar an attractive aesthetic. Golden brown, it is welcoming, un-intimidating and most importantly desirable.
Without doubt the Charatan Robusto promises to provide a blissful experience that will keep you entertained for a good length of time.
Tasting Notes
When nosing the foot of the Charatan Robusto you’re immediately tickled by sweet hints of vanilla and toasted cereals.
When first lit a rush of white pepper is followed by pleasant subtle floral notes. As the cigar progresses it develops into rich, creamy coffee tones akin to a latte.
By the final third some of the spice re-emerges whilst being underlined with transient cedar and toast flavours. The Charatan Robusto has plenty of time to reveal all the subtle characteristics contained within.
