About the author:

For decades he has had a burning passion for high quality, hand made cigars and has turned his hand to creating volumes reflecting on this affair.
Using the skills he has developed as an accomplished journalist, Anwer writes for aficionados, detailing every aspect of each cigar and fairly evaluating them.
Celebrating Cigars
Celebrating Cigars comes in hardback and has 208 pages containing numerous full colour photographs on high quality gloss paper. Kyle Books, the publisher, has taken the approach of quality over quantity (which we are very grateful for). The book measures 26 cm x 26 cm, this is to accommodate the lifesize photographs of the cigars.
The book starts with the colourful history of cigars before showing in detail how cigars are made.
Next, Anwer systematically goes through the world’s greatest hand made cigars, brand by brand. Celebrating Cigars looks at cigars from across the globe, not only Cuba.
For the uninitiated, Anwer goes over how to correctly smoke a cigar and explains the many accessories such as different styles of cutters & lighters. A section dedicated to the most exquisite of these requisites, along with flamboyant humidors, can also be found in the later pages.
This is a great buy for any newcomer to the world of cigars offering a wealth of useful information. Long time cigar lovers and aficionados will still find its pages filled with knowledge unbeknownst to them.
